Welcome Shroobers, the name’s KoiRix, though I usually sign off as The Grove MAster 🖤. I started Gosmic Grove — or it’s full legal name: Gosmic Grove GArmentry — to do one thing,,, combat fast fashion and overconsumption by  bringing nostalgia💿, whimsy🧚🏾, and originality🕸️ back into the everyday lives of victims to the Beige Plague.

As uniformity, hatred, and inconsideration rapidly grows in the world, so too will the movement to Protect the Unloved. Whether it’s single-worn discarded clothing or people, I created this brand, OUR brand, to inspire creativity and hope for a better future.

I first came up with the idea to transform discarded clothes into unique stylized garments September 24, 2023. I bought my first (and only) sewing machine at Kohl’s and started designing from there with a singular goal in mind.

Gosmic Grove strives to bring back whimsy!! Because whimsy isn’t just an aesthetic, it’s a state of mind. It’s the rejection of streamlining the human experience and the advocacy to praise the rough knees and dripping ice cream that upholds childhood magic. To capture that feeling, to recycle the most magical years of your life and to reject the limitations placed upon modern society. It’s freedom of the self.

So though I created this livelihood in less than a year with an $80 sewing machine and a Pinterest account, my only wish is that I inspire those for years to come by reveling in rediscovering who I used to be.
